Blackmont Capital Introduces Innovative Blackberry® Research Distribution Platform
Toronto, Ontario, April 13, 2007 – Blackmont Capital Inc. (“Blackmont”) is pleased to announce the introduction of Dashboard Mobile Financial ™ (DMF), an innovative BlackBerry® research distribution platform designed by Dashboard Communication Corporation (“Dashboard”).
DMF is the first “Real Simple Syndication-based” mobile reader designed for investment dealers’ staff and clients. The platform provides a personalized, fast and easy way of accessing research reports as well as news feeds with a BlackBerry®. DMF also helps eliminate e-mail spam and inbox overload.
“Our goal is to establish a new standard in service for our institutional clients and investment advisors by streamlining the research distribution process,” said Michael Binette, Blackmont’s Managing Director of Research, “Introducing a mobile solution for clients is a key step towards that goal.”
According to Dashboard CEO Andrew Jordan, “DMF revolutionizes the mobile experience by aggregating investment dealer research in one unique location. It provides concise summaries of research reports, and introduces the unprecedented ability to open and easily read full reports and to zoom in on critical information such as charts and graphs.”
